My favorite part of BYU: Police Beat

The absolute best part of my BYU experience was "Police Beat". For those of you unfamiliar, "Police Beat" is a section of the BYU newspaper.

I love "Police Beat". It is seriously so funny. I still read it. I just can't get enough.

Only at BYU would these things happen or even be reported. I also love the completely comical writing style.

(These are all courtesy of "Police Beat" by The Daily Universe).

Disorderly conduct

March 5 Police received a call about an upset intramural basketball player yelling profanities and kicking furniture while exiting the Richards Building after being ejected from a game. The player was identified and released.

Oct. 16 A resident of Heritage Halls called the police claiming she heard gunshots outside her apartment. Officers arrived and found remnants of two dry ice bombs.

Sex Offense

July 5: A female student reported a male student showing his bare buttocks out the window of a car on East Campus Drive. An investigation is continuing.

Theft

March 4 A student was arrested, cited and released for stealing an oatmeal raisin cookie from the Bookstore.

Ha! Ha!
