About 5 minutes ago we just signed up to do the LOTOJA. Yes, the 206 mile bike ride LOTOJA. We have been talking about this for years and have finally decided to sign up. Well, not just 5 minutes ago but several months ago. We rode a lot in the summer ( Me especially because when I didn't have a job I had nothing else to do), we have been going regulary to our gym' spin class as well as riding a lot on our own. We kept talking about doing it but now it is for real. We are crazy!!!! We signed up as "hometown heroes" meaning we will be raising money for cancer research in order to do the race.
Are we insane? Yes!
Next step? We need to buy road bikes as our mountain bikes just won't do!!

Wow! I am impressed. Where and when does the event take place? I used to love to ride bikes when I was younger, but even then I don't think I could have ever taken on such a big event like the one you guys are doing.
That is great. Something to work on and good for your body. Good for you guys. I can't get chris to run a race with me, so lucky you each other. Good luck, keep us posted on progress.

I think that Ross may have done this. I think that is so awesome. I would love to do something like that. For some reason I think that the pain sounds so fun to me.

Wow!! That is totally awesome, yes you guys are insane but it will be well worth it, when you are all done.
