Mcminnville and catfish

We went to Mcminnville this weekend. This was Mitch’s third area on the mission. He still kept in great touch with a family there and so we went there to hang out with them. We went to his apartment and the elders happened to be there. So, we talked to them and he was able to look around. We talked for a while with the 2 sets of elders. Apparently, after Mitch left they closed that area for Spanish speaking missionaries and have just recently reopened it in the last year. So, when he told them his name they said, “We recognized your name on the mission logs but it was in 2002!” They were implying that it was a long time ago. I wanted to say in his defense that I graduated high school only in 2002 so it couldn’t possibly be that long ago. Oh, wait, it kind of was a long time ago. Oh, well.

Isn’t this so cute? And her name is Opal. Love it!

The nasty, huge catfish is in the net

Mitch getting ready to show it in the picture

The catfish trying to get away!

The catch! The boys on the sides were a little afraid of the fish!

The bait . . . mmm hotdogs.

The typically random Tennessee downpour

I love this picture! Love the rocking chair!

We also went on the canoe. So relaxing.

Cute little bridge!

Can you tell that we had a good time?

Hi Meg, Okay so to your earlier post about Shabby Apple. I love love love the bottom dress as in I have been drooling over it for the past couple of months. I'm jealous for all the fun you are having in the big T. When Mitch gets done with school you are going to be a cowboy hat wearing, southern drawling, red headed babe!
Why so many exclamation marks!!!
I must be way excited!!

I think the same thing about my high school graduation - 2002 wasn't that long ago - but then I really think about it and realize that it kind of has been a while.
