Flooding . . . and we live by a dam

If you haven't heard, Nashville as well as 2/3 of Tennessee have had severe flooding. Great. In fact, all of our stuff is packed up ready to go if we need to . I'll be honest I have been a bit nervous.

Our Target is flooded. Kohl's is flooded. The Opryland convention center (next to the Grand Ole Opry) that is near us is completely flooded.

Take a look . . .

These pics don't even do it justice. Poor Target. Totally soaked.

Our apartment complex.

Inside the Opryland Hotel. They had to evacuate all of the guests.

We are currently watching the water rise and fall in our backyard. We might get flooded.

Oh, and it is finals week for Mitch. Fantastic.

Well, the silver lining may be that Mitch gets a little extra time to study! Stay dry, you two!

I hope you are high and dry. I saw on the news that things were looking better back there. Is that true? Sure looks like one big flooded mess. We have gone through the same thing here years ago and the clean up is awful. It didn't affect us but it hit a lot of our friends.

Ahhh, last year ATL flooded and it was CRAZY. However, I don't think we got as much as you. You just look out the window and wonder if the sheets of rain will ever stop. I really hope you don't flood, or I really hope you have flood insurance! Keep us updated
