Adios POPola!






I don't really drink pop anymore. No really.

I stopped drinking pop at night because if I drink pop with any amount of caffeine in it after 6:00pm I can't fall asleep and I get up 20 times during the night to go to the bathroom.

. . . So I stopped drinking it in the evening.

Then, I started drinking Gatorade (low cal of course) during the day at work because sitting at a desk + pop = painful stomach ache.

. . . this amounts to I just don't drink pop during the week.

Then, I stopped ordering soda when we went out to eat. Crazy! I know!

. . . end result, I really don't drink pop anymore. I say really because I have had a sip here and there but that is it. I'm not completely cured of it just yet.

The results? I no longer get up during the middle of the night to use the restroom. I don't get stomach aches at work anymore. Lastly, I feel better (probably because I drink much more water).

I feel like I have accomplished something huge here. Do you care to know this? Who knows. I really don't care though because this is my blog. So there.

Hey Megann, I am so proud of you to accomplish the Adios POPola. I too can't drink anything with caffine after 1:00 PM or I can't sleep. Dr. Bret says Pop is poision to our bodies especially sugar free. So a big CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU!

That is a huge thing. It's not little, it's big. Ben has been pop free for 1/3 of our pregnancy. Haha! He figured that out the other night. Yes, that is what our life consist of now.
