Poll-worker

Today I worked as a poll-worker for the election. It was actually quite boring because turns out more people voted early and so not as many people came on the actual election day. It was great though to participate. I full well knew all day and for a few weeks now that Obama was going to win. So, I came home to find out that Obama had pretty much won. I am sick to my stomach. Seriously.

I know there are some who read this blog who voted for Obama so you may not like this. For that I am sorry. Flat out, I think Obama is a socialist. I think he is dishonest. He is not the candidate I would want for the first black president. I am not excited for what these next four years will bring. Luckily, we have the senate and the house. Thank you founding fathers for checks and balances.

Maybe I am being way too passionate right now because it is the night of the election. But, I just wanted to let you know that this marks the beginning of my protesting days. Seriously, I am going to become a professional protester for the next four years. I really want to scream right now.

I'm proud of you doing your civic duty. Don't be too discouraged about the election. I honestly don't think he'll make it past 4 years, things will be so messed up he won't get reelected in 2012. I honestly didn't think I'd live through Clinton, but I did. And hopefully by 2012, people will have learned how to recognize a fake.

AMEN AMEN AMEN. I literally get butterflies in my stomach every time I think of what may become of the good ol' USA now that Obama is Mr. President. Good grief. Not that I was all about McCain, but I really don't care for Obama. Oh well. I'll just buckle my seatbelt for the ride!
